I'm starting a new thread where I will be posting things that I feel will be common in the future. If you would like to comment on them, go ahead, if you want to say one, go ahead but please only post one once a week to keep from spamming.
Here is my first post:
In the future... Fuel cells will allow us to use water as a new source of power by using the cell to separate the H2O and store the gases to power almost anything.
So in the future, remember to water your iPods!

In the future.. video games will PLAY US. I mean it will connect right to your nerves or brain or something. Now that I think of it though that sounds kind of dangerous, but it could be really cool.. imagine you hook up to the game and suddenly you're feeling the cold air and snow rush by as you slalom down that huge hill in 1080 (version 17). You think of moving your hand out to touch the snow and balance your turn, and it happens just like that. WHOAAA

In the future... Stores will be nothing but giant vending machines. You swipe your membership card and type in what you want and how many, and your items come out to you on a conveyor belt. There will still be a need for bag boys/girls and loaders/unloaders, but what more do you need? Idea copywritten by "DJ Aikou Inc." In the future.. video games will PLAY US. They look like they are doing well, but I haven't heard anything from it in a while though.

Yes, I think that video games of the future are going to be a total body experience possibly, even with smell and taste. It will be weird but cool probably

I already have my own toilet seat that I bring with me everywhere to prevent the spread of germs into my body and bloodstream. It's called my butt : P. J/k, seriously though, can you see everyone, even Grandma, carrying around their own toilet seat? Maybe if its one of those expanding thingies in the future that come out of a tiny inch sized cube and grow to the size you need by extreme compression of some kind and weird force fields I can't even understand right now. I'm sure some guy is making the first popular release of the "Porta toilet seat" but will it catch on? Or will the ever-popular "toilet paper cover" that we all HAVE to make in public restrooms hold the position of portable cover forever? Its a good point to debate you bring up here.

I meant in the household. Meaning they each are in their own drawer at home.

Ah, I remember something similiar to that in the Sci-Fi series "Firefly", everyone on the spaceship had their own toilet in the wall of their room and they could pull out the drawer to go to the bathroom, it seems like an idea that would work well for anyone who planned it into their house.
I think that in the future people will not do anything dangerous if a robot can do it, and before we have androids if we ever do there will be a time when we have sort of "living machines" like cars that drive themselves, and fix themselves (that would be nice but then again what if it decides it needs new 50,000$ gold-plated diamond-studded rims while its there?), and generally make decisions for people and make it so that people don't have to do certain tasks but can worry about whatever else they want to.
This new age will be one where people have less and less obvious things to do and robots start doing more and more important tasks for us and being extremely important to us eventually. We are moving further and further into this future, and soon this will have many people alarmed and possibly trying to stop the robots from increasing in number, along with trying to keep them from becoming "self-aware" or being used for evil in some way.
