Is the Nintendo DS going to have a web broswer eventually?

Yes, It releases July 24th in Japan (TBA in US and elsewhere)
It will cost us $29.99 (which sucks) BUT, It comes with a RAM add-on for the DS so we can handle Mega big website! (something the PSP CAN'T do!)

Coolness. The DS is going to need some portable internet of some kind, I guess you could transport a modem with it or something? Also any word on the features, like text size changing/zoom/favorites? Is this like firefox/ie? Or are the details kind of hushed?

modem? The DS has a wi-fi B card built inside.
The browser is made by "Opera". The bottom screen will have a full page view of the website, when you touch the screen, you focus the top screen on whatever it is you want to look at.

I will have to get more familiar with Opera then. Also, I was wondering are there any ways you know of that work well with the DS for having a portable wireless network? Like cell phone internet, satellite, i dunno.. to play DS online anywhere? That zoom in feature is cool with the full page view on the bottom screen. Makes me think I maybe should get this, it really will be almost as good as browsing on a desktop/laptop at a lower price with less complications and easier to carry. You could bring it around the house to show people information! DS technology all seems pretty cool.

Well, I know you could if you had a laptop and verizon's new anywhere net and the USB wi-fi thing for the DS. That would cost a lot though. Plus, most McDonald's have free wi-fi now, so that would be a better way of getting on "almost" anywhere.
I personaly may not get this because I use my PSP to do this, but then again there is that RAM pack that lets you view pic heavy and flash heavy websites though. I think I'll wait and look into it before deciding.
