I just saw on the news that Florida now has a new Lizard that was illegaly imported from africa. It grows upto 7 ft long and eats small animals including cats and dogs (maybe infants too).
There is already about 1,000 of them and they are multiplying FAST!
I guess this isn't a good time to go there then.

Yeah, I heard about them. People are afraid of letting their kids go out to play. More and more people are getting fences put up in their yards.
I hope they don't spread too much.

wow, they sound worse than Aligators since gators like to stay near water and Lizards like hot dry places.

Sometimes in florida I find lizards in the hotel room, but small ones. I'd think it'd be harder for 7 ft ones to get in, but they might sneek in when they are babies and grow! scary thought

but then again i don't think security would stop them if they tried walking through front door?
it would be scary to come face to face with, would you run or freeze? most people would freeze!

don't know, but when I see a skunk I just talk to it. Skunks only spray if they feel threatened. I don't move of course, but I talk to them like I would a cat. You know some people keep skunks as pets. (desented of course)
