I'm a student at the University of Washington and I'm taking a Java programming class. I have to admit that it has given me a new found appreciation for programmers. I am not the greatest programmer by all means. I believe it's due to the fact that often time my programs don't work due to a misplaced or missing {. It's tedious things like that make me want to throw a computer out the window when I've been trying to find an error like that for over an hour. So, God bless the programmers for having a personality that can handle sitting in front of a computer all day typing inefficient code to make our lives efficient!

I have never gotten C++ to compile right, there are always errors popping up all the time. I have used a compiler called Dark Basic before & never had any trouble with it. I haven't made anything special though, mostly text based programs with an MSDOS feel to it. I did make the one where I fly around in a ship blasting "Wigglytuff" to bits though.
