Weird food that you ate once?

What is a weird food that you tried once either at somebody's house or at a restaurant? I once had some strange dish that was several different cheeses and was pink colored. I got sick afterwards, it didn't taste too good... ever had anything strange like that?

Well, I used to mix Mac & Cheese, Cottage Cheese, and Spaghetti Sauce together and people said it looked gross, but it is magnific! ('-')<V

Yeah, foods that look strange or aren't usually combined will make people think it is gross or not want to try it. But sometimes they are really good, you just have to decide whether you want to try it or if you won't find out what it is really like. Like at a dinner where everyone brings a dish, a potluck dinner, you have some things there that might not all look like you expected because different people have made them and brought them. But usually they are good and sometimes very good.

Once a long time ago i ate food i never even heard of that i got of a friend from across the road and it looked like dogs foul it was that horrible but i ate it so i knew what it was like.

Yeah, there's food that might look bad but if you try it you might like it, maybe sushi to some people is like this. And then there's food that you might like but if you knew what it was (squid or monkey brains or caviar or something) you probably wouldn't like it. Then there's food that looks bad and is bad. And food that sounds or looks good and turns out bad. You don't know unless you find out what it is made of, or how it was made, or try tasting if it's safe and you're brave . There is dangerous food out there so use caution folks .

I use my nose to see how things smell sometimes before I taste them.

Thats what i do at times but if it doesn't smell nice i won't eat cause i dont olike ating stuff i don't like.

Yeah, smelling a food before you try it is usually a very good idea. The scent of the food is what pets check too and sometimes they don't want to eat it if it doesn't smell right, and it can be helpful to a person's appetite to smell what they want to eat.

Yeah and everytime i go to a pub or restaurant i always smell the food to see if its got a nice scent for it.
