What different ethnic (from a certain culture) or national foods have you tried recently, where did you try them and what do you think about them? Also, I noticed that it seems like when you go to a buffet the food is different so that you feel full sooner. I heard that this food is usually not the normal everyday food of that country or culture, but actually is what they would eat on a holiday.
The places that I have been most often were Chinese food restaurants although I'm going to try a few others also. I always liked the food each time that they had when it was a buffet or a set meal, although I do agree that alot of the choices up there are like holiday food, which is very rich or fatty or sweet, and to make up for that I try to get some rice too or something like that. The places I went to were chain restaurants mostly so that might change what kind of Chinese food I get there. What are your experiences with ethnic or national restaurants?

There is this really good Chinese restaurant in the burg that I like to go to. You and I should go sometime, I have been meaning to go there again soon.
I went to a food festival not long ago. They had foods from many counrties there. I mostly stick to my favorite though. Italian, Chinese, German; to name a few. (and in that order) I like Italian the most, and it fits right in cause Mario loves Italian food, and the Ninja Turtles love Pizza. My 2nd fav is Chinese. And I'd then have to say that German food would be 3rd. But I really shouldn't lable them like that, cause there might be some foods that I have never had before that I might think is better.
